There are two ways of having powered motorized blinds.
Option 1. with at 24v or 120v, that requires pre wiring for each desired window.
Option 2. Is a more common and popular way is battery operated.
There is a lithium ion battery that is built into the motor. This allows to to charge it with a cord like your phone. Depending on usage and sizes, the battery can last between 6 months to 1 year.
